was it me...?
a girl in cotton kimono
into the labyrinth
from subway darkness
a slow escalator
to the festival drums
mikoshi--
elbowing my way
to my childhood
mikoshi (a sacred palanquin) in motion
festival at dusk
a goldfish escapes
the boy's nest
